Reminders:
- There is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, April 10.
- There is half day on Thursday, April 18. Hynes students will be dismissed at noon.
Testing: 3rd graders will be IAR testing this week. Please remind your child to charge their Chromebook!
Math: We have completed Module 5 on fractions and will be starting our sixth module on collecting and displaying data. Students will be generating and organizing data to create and analyze bar graphs, picture graphs, and line plots.
Reading: Students are starting off the month by focusing on determining the Topic, Main Idea, and supporting details of various texts.
Language Arts: Students will be drafting and finalizing their biographies!
Social Studies: We will be wrapping our Native Americans unit right after spring break! Then we will move on to the next science unit on Inheritance and Traits.
Cursive has started! Hopefully, students will write sentences and stories using cursive in May!
